League Rules & FAQ
Everything you need to know about playing in our flag football league.
Important Notice
All players must be familiar with these rules before participating in league games. Captains are responsible for ensuring their team understands and follows these regulations.

Flag Guarding
Using hands, arms, or ball to prevent defender from pulling flag

Illegal Motion
More than one player moving at snap or forward motion before snap

Pass Interference
Contact that interferes with receiver's opportunity to catch pass

Roughing the Passer
Making contact with the opposing teams quarterback as they are throwing the ball.

Unsportsmanlike Conduct
Taunting, excessive celebration, or disrespecting officials
Handoffs Allowed
The QB is now allowed to hand off the ball to a running back or receiver behind the line of scrimmage.
Blocking on the Line
Offensive linemen are now allowed to block for the QB and running backs on the line of scrimmage as long as they do not fully extend their arms.
Downfield "Blocking"
Offensive players are now allowed to get in front of their ball carrier to block defenders downfield, as long as they do not initiate contact.
